This facilitator's guide provides a process to guide you through the delivery of the lessons in the ‘Character Building Workbook' associated with 'The Seven Principles of RESPECTism'.
The goal of this facilitator's guide is to assist educators, family members, and other support providers to develop an understanding of the character building lessons and principles contained in 'The Seven Principles of RESPECTism'.
The primary goal of 'The Seven Principles of RESPECTism' and the character building workbook is to provide young people with ideas and concepts to develop positive character traits.
Participants learn to become better decision-makers, take ownership of their choices, and eventually feel confident and secure as they mature into adulthood.
It would be great if life came with a manual that could guide us as children and also provide us with instruction on how to guide our own children through their lives .
Unfortunately, life does not come with a manual, so as young people we learn through experience and trail and error. As parents and educators we nurture the young people in our charge using the experience we have gained through our own lives.
The Facilitators Guide provides you with a process to deliver the lessons in the workbook in a fun and effective way.
Include in the facilitators guide are:
- Detailed ideas on group or individual facilitation of each of the lessons and their seven sections
- Detailed facilitation process for the Character Profile Questionnaire
- How to recognise and effectively teach use learning styles
- Ideas to develop your questioning Skills
- Learning objectives and outcomes for each lesson
-
