By using music, art, story telling, play and creative games, children learn the fundamentals of yoga. Yoga poses (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayma) and relaxation (savasana) are incorporated into each class in an enjoyable and accessible way.

Ethics
The eight limbs of yoga, code of ethics will be assimilated in teachings.
The Yoga Yamas (ethical discliplines) are:
Ahimsa – non violence; not hurting other or ourselves
Satya – truth; looking for the truth and telling the truth
Asteya – non stealing; We don’t tale other people things, or copy their homework. We don’t shoplift or take what isn’t ours to take.
Brahmacharya – self restraint: such as overindulgence in food or television.
Aparigraha – not wanting what is someone else’s not being greedy and acquisitive.
The Yoga Niyamas (rules of conducts) are:
Saucha – keeping the body clean, washing our face hands and brushing our teeth
Santosa – being content; cultivating a sense of gratitude and learning to love ourselves
Tapas – making a conscious effort; being disciplined and committed
Svadhyaya – study of sacred texts; having a respect for education and learning; paying attention in school
Isvara pranidhana – faith in God, believing in our instinct and intuition and developing our better nature
Asana Practice – Keeping our bodies strong and healthy and our mind focussed.
Pranayama – Cultivating awareness of our vital energy and how we can influence it.
Pratyahara – The literal translation of this is withdrawal of the senses. With children it can be seen as cultivating an awareness of each sense and developing ways to calm the senses leading to inner calm and wellbeing
Dharana – Concentration; yoga can help develop children’s concentration in many ways
